Cette fois, je reviens à temps avec un cosplay de Faith pour les amoureux de Mirror’s Edge (et je pense surtout à Krystal pute en disant cela =P). Comme d’habitude, je laisse le soin à mon invitée de se présenter.
Hi!
My name is Aku, short for Akusesu, an action sports designer located in southern California. I started costly back in 2002 (?) just out of pure curiosity of the culture. Since Faith of Mirrors Edge was such a simple outfit, it only took minor alterations of clothes I already had. Other costumes with more complex details are a whole other story. I love pouring my heart and soul into each costume and proudly wearing it out with other fellow game or anime lovers at events ! When we go out in costumes outside of events, we do get a lot of odd looks and curious bystanders. However, overall the people who have no idea of the cosplay culture get intrigued and ask us questions with interest

Start small ! Baby steps ! It’s always great to get your feet wet before jumping in. It’s best to blueprint exactly how you wish to approach your costume so you not get lost along the way in case you get overwhelmed.

Cependant, en général les personnes qui n’ont aucune idée de ce qu’est la culture cosplay sont intrigués et nous posent des questions avec intérêt.
Et pour ceux qui voudraient se lancer, voici la petite phrase du jour :
Commencez petit ! A petits pas ! C’est toujours bien de se mouiller les pieds avant de se jeter à l’eau. C’est mieux de planifier précisément la méthode de réalisation du costume pour ne pas se perdre en route et être débordé.
